Southworth Item #2500
Other Materials Used (from your favorite craft store):
- 12"x12" sheet of Pink Pattern Paper
- Heart-shaped Decorative Punch
- Roll of white 9" wide Tulle Ribbon
- Ruler
- Wax Seal and Seal Stamper (optional)
General Instructions:
- Before printing place cards, experiment with the placement of the hearts on the
cards. This will give you an idea of where your text will go. Once you are satisfied
with your embellishment placement, measure in from all sides. Jot down these measurements
as they will be used in the next step to set your margins.
- Once in your layout program (i.e. MS Word®, MS Publisher®, etc.), set your top,
left, right and bottom margins according to your measurements from Step 1.
- Print out invitations, response/reception cards with desired text. If you need
help with wording, we have sample wording for different situations.
- Line inside of all cards. For invitation, cut patterned paper 5 ½" x 8 ¼" open
card and adhere to right side. For response/reception cards, cut patterned paper
5 ½" x 4 ¼" open card and adhere bottom panel of card.
- Punch out heart shapes from a sheet of the patterned paper using the decorative
heart punch. Apply hearts to printed cards and envelopes as shown.
- Punch heart shaped holes in the cards next to the patterned heart cutouts you
applied above.
- Gather up all pieces into invitation card. Cut a 16" length of tulle ribbon.
Tie around invitation bundle.
Additional Idea: Use a wax seal on the envelopes.
