Other Materials Used (from your favorite craft store):
- Photo of grape leaves (you can take or scan); or grape leaf paper
- Spool of ˝" Sheer Gold Ribbon
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Glue
- Round Corner Punch (optional)
General Instructions:
- Print invitations. In our sample, the grape picture was placed in an oval within
the text (another option if your layout program doesn’t allow this, is to print
it on a separate piece of paper, cut it in an oval shape, and glue onto invitation).
- Ribbon was added by cutting a ˝" slit on each side of oval. Weave ribbon as shown
and secure with a dab of glue on back.
- To line the half-fold envelope, place graphics in 7 ˝" x 7 ˝" square box in your
layout program and print. Cut out (Optional: Use a round corner punch to round
off the edges). Using glue stick, adhere the paper into the envelope.
More Ideas: This idea can be used with any picture, such as birthday, anniversary, retirement
parties – just use a photo of the individual(s). The possibilities are endless!
